Resurfacing work postponed

We are deeply frustrated to hear that the resurfacing work scheduled for 2 March onwards will not be going ahead.
This is from the contractor:

"The surfacing will NOT go ahead on the 2nd march as we have not been given the relevant information that’s required to continue for that date.

The yellow signs where put up by mistake and will be removed very shortly.

However, the scheme will go ahead on the 27/4/26 to 1st may. Under a full road closure with a full diversion in place.

Residents and businesses will be informed nearer the time."
