Planned roadworks

Below is the most recent information that we have had from Highways. A new letter has been sent to us regarding the closures from 27 April to 1 May. This is available to read here if you have not received it by post.

From SC Highways:
"On the 27th /4th 2026 for 7days 0930 -1600 is for resurfacing and high friction , road closure

Sec 1
The B4380 and B5061 from Atcham to Uppington will be treated between Tuesday 14 April and Wednesday 27 May [2026]. Work will be carried out in three phases as follows, when the road will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm on weekdays, and from 6am to 6pm on weekends.
14 April – Road closure for stud removal
14 to 17 May – Road closure for surface dressing
26 to 27 May – Road closure for white lining

Sec 2
The B4380 from Emstrey Bank End to the junction with the B5061 (Wroxeter road junction) will be treated between Tuesday 21 April and Friday 5 June [2026]. Work will be carried out in three phases as follows, when the road will be closed from 9.30am to 4pm on weekdays.
21 April – Road closure for stud removal
20 to 21 May – Road closure for surface dressing
5 June – Road closure for white lining"
